It’s important to us that we remain independent, free from large funding bodies and constitutional control, so that our work can stay queer, political and sexy.

We are a volunteer-led organisation. We like to work with independent publishing houses and event venues, and pay exhibiting artists if we can (we would love to pay an independent web designer rather than using this stinky-ass square space!)

We make money through magazine sales, merchandise and event tickets, and any money we make goes straight back into ObPom!
